We’re really thrilled to introduce, a fantastic online planning tool for vegetable gardeners >> GrowVeg.com
It enables you to make a scale drawing of your vegetable plot or allotment and populate it with the vegetables you want to grow. It even shows you how much space each plant needs and which plants go together.
As well as the tool itself, you get email reminders of when to sow and plant out the vegetables in your plans. The colour-coded system of vegetable types enables you to rotate your crops each year, avoiding the build up of pests or depletion of nutrients in the soil.
When it comes to next year the planning tool will simply copy your garden layout without the vegetables, so it’s easy to start right away on next year’s plans.

I ventured into vegetable gardening for the first time this year and whilst I’ve had some great successes, I’ve also made some mistakes that I’d have avoided had I known about the GrowVeg tool before I started out. For example realising how much space a courgette plant will take up once fully grown!
As well as the tool, the GrowVeg website has some really useful and informative articles.

I love it! What a clever and easy looking tool. I've only looked at the demo but I think even I might be able to be able to use it without too much difficulty. Shame it's not a free resource but you can't really blame them for charging for something that's potentially going to save you money, time and disappointment, and there's the 30 day free trial. I haven't had too bad a first year growing my own veg but I'm hoping next year will be significantly better!
