I'm one of the founders of Make it and Mend it. My main MIAMI passion is gardening, but I like to do a bit of everything. When I was young I made my own clothes and did lots of sewing and knitting, but then got out of the habit due to work commitments. I had a bit of an epiphany when, on a whim, I signed up for a week's course in upholstery and felt so relaxed and filled with such a sense of achievement that I decided to do more things with my hands rather than just my brain!
